Samsung has released it's successor to it's phablet note. It is the new note . The note has been made better and thinner. It has better processor and runs smoothly than before.

The new note operates with the newest version of android the android 4.1 or jelly bean. It also boasts a better 1.6 GHz Exynos processor which helps in delivering speedy performance. The apps run smoothly than before. 

The new note 2 has Super AMOLED screen but has lesser screen density then the predecessor.
The new note comes in 3 memory variants the 16, 32 and 64 GB. The new note also as improved ram of 2GB. This device is also 3 gram heavier than its predecessor but it is slightly longer and thinner. 

Camera

It is equipped with an 8 MP camera which supports HD recording. The front camera is 1.9 mp. 

There is also an powerful led flash which allows you to take good quality photos at night.

Battery

Battery life is improved with Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery.

Google enables handwriting search for android

AlarmDroid review

Wow so many apps I have and so many apps I have reviewed! And I forgot about the one which I use almost every morning. It is this cool good looking app called the alarmdroid. I have been using this app on my samsung galaxy mini since 4 months and this app is better than all the other android alarm apps I have used.

Lets dig in on this app!

This is the new screen in the updated version of this app. 

Setting alarms with this app is very easy. You press the clock+ button select the time on the easy to set time box. Unlike other alarm apps on the market with this app you can enter the time. This feature of this app saves me lot of time frustration. You can set the snooze time. You can set repeating alarms etc. There are also many other features in this app like the speaking clock, internet radio streaming, etc.

Why I like this app?

This app is cleanly designed. Easy to use and designed for normal humans like me. Every thing is near to perfect in this app. I also like to press the on button which give's a vibratory feedback.
Out of many alarm apps I have used one thing which was missing in many was the good "prevent you from sleep or snooze button". This app as it. I set the puzzles in this app to difficult level and when the alarm ring in the morning 

I try to press the snooze button. But because of the puzzles I end up waking up fresh with my brain getting a little exercise. 

So give this app a serious test... You will like yourself for downloading this.

Tiny flashlight android app review

Using real flash lights for simple searching under the bed is so old fashioned. And holding a flash light when you phone is waste of energy. So why not have an app which can give you a basic flash light and have much more features than the regular flash light. Luckily I found an app which is powerful, bright and has lot of other flash light features.
Note: This app has been reviewed in samsung galaxy pop.

Tiny flash light + led.

Out of many flash light apps I have downloaded tiny flash light is the best. This app is simple to use and takes very less space. The app can also be shifted to memory card though I advise you to keep it in your phone memory as this app can come to your rescue when you are lost in jungle maybe.
Tiny flash light not only does have a simple flash light it also has some other types of lights like emergency light etc. There are features like double strobe etc which is not available across all devices. Also the phone with which I reviewed this app does not have a camera flash. 

The good!

As I have said tiny flash light is an really good built app. Until today It has never crashed on my device.

Besides these lights there are some more which are not supported for all devices.

The bad!

I don't know why but this app requires lot of permission's. Sucks battery juice fast. Reports of crashing in newer version of androids (mine is android 2.3 the newest version as of today is 4.0 long difference huh!). Some times the app slows down for 10 seconds when advertisements appear (maybe my device). The same instruction comes out all the time when you choose other lights (see the first image at "the good section") I hate seeing those again and again.

Verdict!

If I was you was I downloading this? Yes! Tiny flash light  is an good app and better than other 10 flash light apps I have used. It has been already 3 months since I used this app and I have still not uninstalled it (I usually uninstall apps after few days).

lightning bug android app review

I always had a tough time getting good night's sleep. So I began my search to find an app which will help me with this problems. And I have found one. It is called the lightning bug.

Lightning bug 

I have been using this app for about a month and now can get a good amount of sleep. Lightning bug is an app which plays sounds and music. You can also mix other sounds. When you download the lightning bug you first will be in the basic menu. This menu does not have many sounds . To get more sounds you'll need to enable the plugin setting.
You can also buy more sounds from the app (android market link).

Review 

The lightning bug is one of the neatest app I have ever seen. The buttons are at the right place and the app responds to the command given without crashes. By default when you open this app you get a scene where lightning bugs roam around. You can also change the color of this bugs. The sound of the rain and lightning also are default with this scene. Maybe that's why they call this app the lightning bug.
In the plugin mode there are many scenes and sounds. Some come free when you download the app and the rest you can buy it.
Lightning bug also comes with an sleep timer. You can set the timer to values such as 5, 10, 15.. minutes. You can also set the sound decrease option. If you enable this option, the volume of the sound's gradually decrease until it's zero. There is also an option to reset the volume. The app is very customizeable and very user friendly. 

Verdict

Out of many apps I have been searching for to help me with my sleep problems this is the best. I am also learning to meditate and there is an plugin called meditation which has calm sounds. I definitely recommend you to download this app.
